StarBooks

StarBooks was established in April 2008 to celebrate the National Year of Reading. It is a joint venture with the Library, English Faculty and the Enterprise Group. StarBooks takes place every Friday lunchtime in the fiction side of the library. Pupils and staff buy their £1 token from the library and for this they enjoy a hot chocolate, muffin and a ‘Good Read’. This is a very popular weekly event at Collegiate High School. StarBooks has enjoyed a wide-range of themes including a visit from author, Joseph Delaney and an Arctic Special with Rebecca giving an insight in to her Arctic Expedition.
